Be surprised if he takes it. Will still be getting paid by Leeds for another 6 Months, which would stop if he got another job. Could be wrong, though.

How long should he stay out the game though? He has to take a job at some point otherwise he will be a forgotten man, his next role could be make or break for him. Given Luton's league position it would present a good opportunity for him if could keep things ticking along and gets them promoted. Just hope wherever he ends up he doesn't take Jamie Clapham as assistant. He also needs to get rid of that negative attitude / mindset he had for the last 6 months at BFC and throughout his short tenure at Leeds.

Jamie Clapham isn’t with us anymore. Left with Hecky to Leeds

It would be a good move for him and a coup for Luton town.Headlines "Ex Leeds manager takes over at Luton".

I know Jamie Clapham isn't with us anymore, think you've misinterpreted that part of my post. I meant he shouldn't ask JC to become his assistant as I don't particularly rate him.

You would need to have seen Hecky's contract with Leeds in order to make a post such as that, with any degree of certainty to it.

How ya work that out. Dot folk just dream out they want up on here and believe it all. Do you think Leeds or any club sack a manager and give them a pay off but ban them from managing for two year or summat. If thats how it works we won't see jose then ever again given an alleged 15 million pay off.

But that's the very reason why Stendel was out of management for 16 months and officially took over at Barnsley on 1st July, instead of the middle of June

I could be completely wrong, but in my experience on a fixed length contract when you get rid of someone, you just keep paying them until they get another job. cheaper than paying their contract off.

Didn't Simon Davey sit on his arse for a year because if he took another job he would have lost his rights to a further pay out from us? Could be wrong but it's how I seem to recall it

Hecky will be back at Oakwell once GG has taken Daniel to OCG Nice!

I really don't care if Hecky gets the Luton job. In a way I hope he does, as I think we have better coaches & a better team. Would be nice to stick it to him.

Utter ********. At least in the short term. Nice are a big club & GG, if he joins will be in a different pond. Not saying if we are promoted & they have a managerial vacancy that may crop up.

Do you think GG would tolerate a free thinker like Viera?

Daniel may take over at Nice but I don't think Hecky will ever manage /coach at Oakwell again.
