You can't expect anyone to extend thats not in team and stendel froze him out last six week its so obvious and for no apparent reason coz he had a decent Oct Nov.
We are but the move doesn't just involve us. It also involves our key promotion rivals who imo have just strengthened their squad. We may be strong enough to cope with having ours weakened but how much will their squad be strengthened by us handing over a player? That's what worries me about our profit at all costs attitude
Perhaps the freezing out was because he didn't want to sign a new contract rather than the reason he didn't sign one?
He was? The club never even hinted at him forcing a january move. They said he'd been nothing but professional
But he had a contract to keep him here until the summer. So therefore unless you subscribe to the view that if a player wants to move somewhere else then he must be allowed to, then it was a financial decision.
if he was that good that he'll make the difference in Luton finishing above us, then he'd have been in our team every week, he wasnt and he isnt and they wont.
Have only made 8 games this season, (currently in the Algarve). Saw the Bradford game a few hours before leaving. Have watched the full replays of games. Have watched the club since 1974 and have lived & breathed it. I assume you are having a laugh u Dodworth Rover type.
I’d imagine he’s dropped out of the first team for 2 reasons, one that Woodrow got fit & it meant we could go 4-4-2 which limits Moncur’s chances & the second been that Bahre is now up to speed & Stendel prefers him & they’re similar types
