Let's be honest, if you had to say what Moncur's value to the squad was in terms of points over the remainder of the season it would be less than 0.1. He's done **** all of note and we've got some cash in and flogged him to a rival team who are probably going to fall away because they've lost their manager. Decent business.

It feels like when Matt Done let for Hibs.

Yes, George had more "potential". How long do you have to wait for potential to turn to a performance? 2 & a half years & next to bugger all.

Stendel wanted Moncur to stay. Presumably Stendel thought he might be worth more than 0.1 of a point (whatever that is).

Do you remember our second goal against Luton at home? Perhaps not.

Meanwhile Luton did struggle today - to get 5 against Peterborough.

So that's 1 goal, in a match which we would have won without that goal.

"He's done **** all of note" - your words.

    The goal was of note.

To be fair, I can see why we sold moncur. However, to suggest he's done nothing of note is ridiculous. He was outstanding in the Luton home game and Peterborough away game. Which were both big games for us this season. Also we won 3-2 against Luton. So may want to rethink your maths....

Did he write a goodbye message on any of his social media platform to the fans like Potts did? If so must have missed it.

There's a stat used in other sports called goals above replacement (i.e. how many goals a player is worth above another player who would replace him) I genuinely think Moncur's GAR value is negligible if not negative.
