"In agreement with many on here that Barnsley were the best team to come to KM in quite some time, possibly since Liverpool. And unlike others who put 4 past us — Blackburn and Wigan — they weren’t niggly, petulant, Wycombe ciphers and they weren’t trying to ref the match. Quick, strong, skilful and hard working. Just have to hand it to them. "
"We were blown away by an excellent team today - the best team to visit us this season, and in front of the second biggest crowd of the campaign. I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up as champions."
"What a good side Barnsley looked. Total gulf between the two teams" "Their left winger Thiam was awesome"
No problem mate, it's here http://wupgb.co.uk but their forum is a bit of a weird one so I thought it would just be easier if I collated their comments to save people trawling through the pages.
I like that a lot. Winning a game is one thing. Doing so fairly and with some style, in a manner that prompts opposition supporters to simply congralute us, with no cause for complaint, is extremely rare and something for which everyone associated with Barnsley should feel very proud. There have been numerous threads on here this season calling for the team to be more professional, which is basically short hand for cheating - diving, badgering the ref, unfairly stopping the opposition. I'm very happy to see we haven't gone down that route. We did need to become more professional, but in the true sense of the word: work hard all game, every game; perform to the best of our ability; carry out the duties to which we've been tasked. We're doing it and the dividends are much greater than if we'd wasted time practicing the 'dark arts'.
86 - lol. My son pointed out the size of his thighs and when he turned round I saw his arse and just thought to myself, "how the **** did he get that combination into those tiny shorts ? ". 19th Jan 2019 ————————- this comment made me chuckle
