We've been closing the gap on the top 4 over the last few weeks and are closing in on those above us.

Next Saturday neither Sunderland or Portsmouth (who are in the FA Cup) are playing. Sunderland also don't play on the 29th when we're at Oxford, and Portsmouth are away at Luton (who are away at Southend next Sat). Charlton play at Peterborough on Saturday but have no fixture on 29th.

Tempting fate I know and I think the game at Oxford may be tough, but win them both and we should be in the top 2. And could be top.

Amazing given that it's only a few games ago that Portsmouth were 11 points ahead.

Years of supporting us makes me concerned that we could easily slip up on one of these. Especially The Oxford one. We should win them both but football is never that predictable.

Really hope as many as possible go down to Oxford on that undoubtedly cold Tuesday night. I'll be there, hope we pack the away end and really make the difference.

Well put. Can see a couple of 3-0 wins and another six points to the tally. Might finally reach the elusive five goals after so many fours this season.

    I enjoyed today.
Even in the wrong end & not being able to celebrate
Good to hear opposing fans first hand

Worst view I've ever had at a game.

The dugout blocked half the pitch (I'm short and could only see the crossbar and a bit of daylight underneath it.)

Had no idea who got the first until people started singing his name.

Not sure about the next games as you mention but I honestly think, and will be disapointed if we don’t win this league .
For the first time in my life I’ve witnessed a national cup win .
I’ve seen us be bottom half way through a season and get promoted .
We are well capable of winning a league which will be a first for me as I believe I was less than two years old the last one .
    We can do it COYR

We were up near the corner flag. I watched some of the game through a gate and couldn't see anything that went down our left in the first half!

Better second half when kicking the other way.

I can't remember ever having such a poor view at a league ground.

Score line and visiting a new ground made it worthwhile, but I hope they've moved grounds by the time we drop on them again.

Hopefully. At some point it's all going to click and we're going to arsehole some poor sods by 6 or 7

I was quite pleased with the view.
Could see all 4 corner flags, had to Lean forward to see the one nearest you, but didn't miss anything.
A lot less cramped where I was too, which I am sure helped.
Got there early to make sure of a decent spot at the front.
    Very quirky layout though.
Walking through home end (behind goal)
Could just see pitch height wise, then there were blocks of steps you had to go up and over to get to pitch and stand level.
I did spend several years photographing games for the non league paper though, so quite used to the shanty town grounds & the friendliness which normally accompanies them :)

Perhaps everybody who couldn't see the whole pitch should ask for a refund. You wouldn't put up with seeing half a screen at the cinema, would you? Doesn't the Sale Of Goods Act or somesuch apply in these cases?

    Get over it.
The ones who went were lucky to get tickets and I am sure had a great day.
    Ok views were impeded.
That's what happens at some of the grounds at this level.
Shallow terraces not designed for huge crowds, yet they gave nearly 20% of the capacity to us.
This is a new club who's identity was stolen by the corporates and moved to Milton Keynes.
    Give them a break.

Calm down mate, no need to get your knickers in a knot. I asked a perfectly simple question.
It's the 21st century, but you reckon it's ok for somebody to have a view that obscures one of the goals? I'd want my money back, but each to their own. That "lucky to get tickets" argument is the daftest thing I've read on here all week. I'm sure they did have a great day, but would you be saying that if the scoreline had been reversed?

I have every sympathy with Wimbledon fans, what happened with Mk Dons was a disgrace, but that's not the issue. If you pay for a ticket, you should get to see the whole pitch.

    I don't think it's ok
However it is known / accepted that certain grounds have poor lines of sight & are less luxurious.
We all know which they are and have a choice whether to buy tickets to go or not.
I actually think it's nice to go to grounds like that occasionally, as opposed to the perfect (all the same) new stadia.
If that's the daftest argument you have seen all week on here, you really need to read more content lol ;);):D:D

God forbid... If I have to wade through any more political tripe, multiple threads all on the same topic, or ****** posts telling me what the score is, I'll go doolally ;):)
