Aye because constantly posting negative comments has got people signing up in their droves. Agree that the board is poorer because of mentioned posters not contributing as much/at all though.

 

Fair comments there. Good win yesterday. You’re probably my favourite poster on here even when I don’t agree with you. You make your points well. This constant slagging off of people who have a different opinion does stifle any kind of honest debate.

 

I think people react to Conan's negative posting more than others is because there are so many of them.

Whenever we go through a losing streak he's on here 15 hours a day telling everyone how **** we are.

We've now put together a fantastic run of results and he suddenly doesn't post anymore because the board is dying. Not having that.

He's just got nothing to moan at currently. It'll all change if we start losing again.

It's a shame really because he's obviously a very intelligent bloke.

 

Saying we could drop to eighth wasn't sticking my neck out. I didn't say I thought we would drop to eighth. I just said it was possible- which it was.

The only player I think could cut it in the Championship is Woodrow. There is a possibility that Pinnock could make it but he needs someone alongside him who is better and more experienced than Lindsay. I am certain that this squad would be relegated from the Championship.

Edit - should have said I agree with your assessment of yesterday's performance.

 

So if you have negative opinions but you don't want to voice them, how can we hope to have varied and balanced debate?

If you’re not happy with Conan’s supposedly constant negative comments then why are we time after time fetching them back up when they’re only going to cause more negativity?

I don’t see eye to eye on a few things with What Conan says and he probably can say the same about me but **** me I’d rather have 20 like him on here then the constant point scorers on here and the weirdos copying and pasting someone else’s Brexit opinions into the 50 thousand political topics on here.

 

But it's not that simple is it? Because of the people I referred to earlier it's futile trying to post on here at the moment if you have form for posting "negative" comments. We can't have any constructive criticism because it would offensive to do so with the team in such good form. If I were to post something positive about Thiam I would be criticised for being a hypocrite. If I don't say anything positive about him I would be criticised for not praising him to death. So you can't win. By the way, I do include you as one of the people I referred to as earlier and I noted you bumped one of my threads recently.

Some people seem to think you troll- if you truly wanted a reaction like they suspect you'd post that we would get relegated or something along those lines, not 8th.

If someone posts something months ago by sticking their neck out and making a statement that may not be in the majority, it is really childish to bump the thread. I didn't see the one who bumped the Thiam thread as being pointscoring over you but there have been numerous others.

You're not likely to post anything positive if everyone's going to jump on it.

 

No, I don't think that was an attempt to point score over me, more a point of saying look how wrong nearly everyone was. I still remain unconvinced by Thiam and that's a separate argument, but like I said above, people in the game will get things wrong but it seems supporters are pilloried when they do.

 

For what it's worth, necro-ing an ancient post in order to batter someone with it is pretty ****.

 

Would you at least say that Thiam has been massively improved over the last few games?

 

I bumped that "could be 8th" thread because you called me a lovely person in a recent exchange and I wanted to make you look daft. That's why I did it - cards on the table. Maybe it was point scoring, but it was for a reason, albeit a petty one.

 

Nobody cares about negative opinions if they're balanced.
