Although negotiations are in their " infancy", its looking more promising for Blackpool fans that their disaffection with the Oyston family might be coming to an end. A former player who started his career at Bloomfield Road re ex- Man Cityand Spurs International Paul Stewart is heading a Consortium keen to take over the Fylde based Club. An opening bid has been made, but the deal is complicated by a High Court ruling which demands that Oyston has to pay co-investor Valeri Belokon £34.6 million. Oyston has parted with an initial £10 million, but is struggling to raise the balance. For his part, Belokon has made an application for a Court Receiver to be appointed to sell the Oyston families assets, including their holding Company Segesta which owns Blackpool Football Club. If that's achieved Belokon can claim what he's owed and the sale can go through. The new owners would then encourage Belokon to invest in the new set up.
I believe Paul Stewart played in more derbys for different teams.Manchester derby,Merseyside derby,North London Derby,North East Derby and a Potteries derby.
