Thank you, old friend. I simply say what I see. I wonder if I could use that as a unique and original catchphrase?
Welcome back mate. I was actually going to post a thread as a Nurse Gladys distress call this morning til I got issued immediate orders by she who must be obeyed. Hope all is good at your end and you're back to add some much needed sanity on a regular basis.
Thank you for your kind words, old friend, I really appreciate them. Things have certainly been a lot better for us as a family, but I'll keep them private if you don't mind. One of the few positives for me these past few months has been the form of our team and long may that continue.
It's been nice to see us doing so well. I clicked on the score at half time yesterday to see it 1-1 and actually felt confident we could go on and win. That's not a normal state of mind for yer average long term reds fan!
That's true. There's been many seasons when we've drifted along mid table, irrespective of the division we were in at the time, so when we have a campaign where promotion has been on the agenda from day one, it's made a pleasant change and I'm going to enjoy it for as long as it lasts.
Good to see you back! I've loved this season - great football and the feel good factor is back. Haven't really enjoyed the last two seasons but look forward to home games again despite the train strike! God bless National Express!!!
If my maths and memory is right, we came pretty close in your first season - went down to the last game. Rotherham had to draw and we had to win by 4 goals. At half time that was the position. But Rotherham went on to win and we let a goal in.
Yes, you're absolutely right! Is forgotten that the title was still a possibility. Hadn't we beaten Rotherham in midweek to guarantee promotion too?
Nice to see you back Mr Biglil sir, I've been missing having somebody to pick on. Don't forget you've got a lot of friends on here so if there's anything anyone can do you for just about and I'm sure you'll have a million volunteers even if you just feel a bit stressed and need someone to come and change the channel for you so you don't have to reach for the remote.
Despite the fact you know nothing about football, you always manage to cheer me up and still remain my favourite poster who I've never met. I just may take you up on the offer of help with the remote control!
Thoughts are with you Big Lil with the hope that you manage to eventually sort out your personal family problem. Great to see you back on the BBS.
You're far from boring bud. Never met , but can tell from your postings, you are a very caring family man, with like a lot of us, a long standing affection for our famous football Club. Take care mate.
I'd forgotten that bit but looking it up, yes it seems we did beat them just before. I do recall a story about there being a helicopter on standby to take the div 3 trophy to millmoor or oakwell depending on the results.
