When it was originally redone and turned into teletubby land was the bridge over the bus station too low for buses and had to be redone? Or have I made that up?
I don't believe so but could be wrong. They hit problems when building it though because they hit coal (which apparently wasn't expected).
It could have been that then. I seem to remember a story going round that the pedestrian bridge was too low for double deckers so they had to lower the road surface below it. Can't even remember where I heard that or how long ago it was built
I think it opened in 2007. I've been trying to find out a news article to prove I'm not talking ******** but can't so I've given up. It's possible it was an April Fool, but I seem to remember it being true. Take a look at https://issuu.com/cronweb/docs/wk16-indy-2008-04-16 and https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/ if you want a play.
Whenever I read a post like this I'm forced to ask "Why?". What's the point in being so unpleasant? How does it help?
