    ok, so it's all ifs and buts, and the business people amongst us will call this nuts but...

    If, and I do mean IF, Pinnock is sold for £6m, let's have a bold statement from the owners and finally do something a little bit 'crazy'

    So the club cash in on their prize asset leaving us disgruntled fans feeling a sense of deja vu, why not pledge free season ticket renewals next season if it results in us NOT going up.

    The Chinese love a gamble so the gamble is this; Take £6million now and risk giving circa half of it back to the fans to keep them on board, if we fail to gain promotion. Or take the money and should we still gain promotion, a further windfall awaits the owners.

    So if Pinnock really does go for that amount, red or black? Half the money, League one football, still 10,000 season ticket holders at Oakwell, or Championship football and double the money.

    never going to happen. The reality is dawning unfortunately.

    It isn't as though they weren't open and honest about the transfer policy going forward. They said that they liked the way the club was run under Cryne's stewardship and were intent on continuing it, why did we think us selling our best assets would change?

    Buy cheap, sell for a profit, take said profit as a dividend for themselves after running costs have been taken care of. They are investors looking to make money, Cryne loved the club, they only love what the club can offer them unfortunately.
