For gods sake stop the negativity.B.F.C.have just had the best 20yrs of their history in my opinion.(Yes I was their for glavin and co). Ok theres been relegations but so have most clubs.Teams playing well will always attract interest from clubs in higher divisons. But perhaps you would rather us be playing crap and be bottom of the league as December 2015.Nobody would have given us a cent for Hourihane and co. then.Theirs no point keeping personel who want to leave.Do you honestly think if we had offered hourihane the same as villa he would have stayed. All clubs go through the same thing,we have done it loads of times with smaller clubs than ourselves.
Really? In the last 20 years we have experienced more relegations than promotions and are in a lower division than 20 years ago. We have entered administration during that period as well... What I would say is we have had more up's and downs than most clubs...
ups and downs yes but over all a very enjoyable 22-23 years n its not all about the promotions we didn't get promoted under flicker at Huddersfield but 1 of the best days in recent history n in my opinion the highs are a much better feeling after experiencing the lows
Oy!!!! you have added 2 to 3 years on haha.. No I agree to a point, my mate just follows his favourite's Barcelona.. I said how boring it must be. Granted they may be treated to some great play at times but to go to every game say except Real Madrid, expecting to win every game must be a bit dull.. I would rather have the ups and downs any day, yes as you rightly point out that day at Huddersfield, experienced every known human emotion and ended with elation lol.. But this season we must keep the team together and get out of this league. Plus, will we ever get a better opportunity at actually winning a division because I wouldn't rule that out with this team? I've certainly in my lifetime never seen the reds win a division (was it 1954-55 season the last time BFC won a division?? ) so just think of that added to the UP's.... Please don't mistake my DESIRE as negativity..
3 relegations - one from the prem Versus Automatic promotion to prem as runners up. Playoff finalists in 2000 Playoff winners 2006 Fa cup semi finalists 2008 Jpt winners 2016 Playoff winners 2016. Crowds have never slipped back below their pre premier league figures. We may have had more adversity over the last 20 odd years, but I think it's provided us with some better times to remember.
We've never finished in the bottom four when we've played in the Fourth Division, therefore we never had to apply for re-election.
