    Incredible.

Their keeper time wastes for all day. Nothing. Davies strolls to pick a ball up late on And the ref produces a ball tearing 40 yard run to swoop and brandish the yellow card.

    Fool.

Yeah terrible again double standards. I thought they was a clear foul on Davies in that goal mouth scramble and so did Davies as he ran over to the ref after to let him know.

Abysmal. The standard really is pathetic.

And the booking on Dougall when he pulled out of a challenge and their winger hurled himself to the floor in a dive Tom Daly would be proud of

May seem petty, on my part, but in the build up to their free kick, a Rochdale player threw the ball towards where the kick was to be taken from, and the ref batted it with his hand towards the kick taker who promptly took a quick one from which they scored.
Surely that can't be right, can it?
You see linemen jumping over the ball as touching it can be seen as potentially giving a minor advantage, yet the ref assists them in taking a quick free kick.

If he could command his area, and punch the ball, he wouldn't have so much to gripe about.

Perhaps the foul on him while he was attempting to catch the ball didnt help??

Davies was warned about time wasting and the ref was running upfield, Davies then gave him some lip so he ran back and booked him.

Trying to catch it was asking for trouble. It wasn't given as a foul either.

Sorry I forgot everything was Davies' fault.

When the ref treats the same situations differentially between the two teams you know you are onto a loser.

That’s exactly right and if I’m not mistaken I don’t think they get marked down on that which is ridiculous imo . The system is tick box marking imo which doesn’t scrutinise the refs performance but how he dealt with the situation . Booking etc I don’t think there’s a mark for common sense etc

Watching it again on tv he flicks the ball with his hand and allows them to take a quick free kick from which they scored. Literally cheating.

Lost count the number of times our lads got a push in the back and nothing given. Then there was the corner he gave where Pinnock let the ball run out. Shocking ref.

Looked to me more like he was warned and told to get on with it and then booked because Davies started taking the ball over to the other side of the goal

My cousin and I sit in the West Stand, I missed it but he seemed to think the reason Davies was booked wasn’t for time wasting, but the lip he gave, i.e. “They’ve been pulling this **** all day”

I'm certain it was because he didn't instantly put the ball down when the red warned him but instead tried to go over to the opposite side of the box after getting told to take it which the ref took as further time wasting

That may well be the case then I hadn’t noticed that , all I saw was Davis as you say running to other side of six yard box and he ran over and booked him .
