Points wise we don't seem to be missing Winkler. Performances wise I think we are. We are still picking up the points but in the last week we haven't played too well since he's gone. Hopefully the assistant coach position will be sorted sooner rather than later.
Load of rubbish that lad, imo of course. I too hope we'll get a new assistant sorted but there's no evidence to suggest we're missing Winkler.
Nope, could and should’ve scored more, but 2-0 against a side that I’ve been led to believe were the form team. More than happy, COYR
We played very well today. Very strange to include today’s performance in criticism over losing Winkler imo.
I thought this was going to be a right bogey fixture today, with Adam Hammill and all. But we took them apart didnt we, no problems at all with the way we played.
Might aswell stick with what we have till the summer then get winkler back for nowt when they all get sacked at Huddersfield
We had performances like Rochdale and Oxford with Winkler here, but today we bossed the game. Rochdale was tough to watch but I think that performance was more of Rochdale doing a very good job on us than us playing badly.
We were completely dominant and played as well as we have all season but we really are wasteful in front of goal. We won which is the most important thing but we need to be more clinical.
I think you have a footballing version of "Hypochondria" on this front Dreamy. By that, I mean that if you didn't know Winkler had left you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference in todays performance to any from before he left.
We won comfortably but it was two lucky bizarre goals. Second half was tame where we couldn't kill the game off with a third. Luckily we were playing one of the lesser teams again like we have a lot lately.
