Anybody else think it's a total embarrassment that these ladies and gents are faced with climbing over the advertising hoardings when they've had their photos done on the pitch? I've watched them struggle to get over these things for most of the season now, some old people, some kids, some infirm. It's a disgrace that a simple movement of the top barrier arm to open a gap seems beyond the wit of those "in charge" Probably the same team who are responsible for the ball boys.
It's awful. It does provide a small bit of entertainment seeing some of the ladies trying to climb over in pencil skirts though - I'm terrible I know.
Only a matter of time before one of them catches a heel on the hoarding and ends up flat on her face. I bet it causes some hilarity, but it's not right. A little gap between the boards wouldn't be too much to ask, surely?
True and advertising boards have been a pain for years. Two lots down the east stand side and to the right of the north stand goal THREE lots behind each other. You have Sky Bet, Carabao and another behind that. The amount of times people throw the ball back and can't get it over the second advertising hordings or a player ends up on them in a heap.
They lifted the board out the first few matches after they were installed (which is why some don't have crowd facing ads) but presumably got bored 9f doing it after 2 or 3 games
Its easily solved. Before the presentation have them all sat in the boardroom under the West Stand. They then come down the tunnel do there business then go back up the tunnel go round the back and up to there seats in the East Stand.Easy in't it.
