Having been at school with what seemed like a million Wednesday fans I really dislike them! I also really dislike Chelsea, the old fans were knobheads and the Jonny come lately I’ve always been a fan guvnor how’s yer father who the hell is Kerry Dixon is that a brass new fans are knobheads too
It changes between Leeds & the Sheffield clubs in general but I’d have to say Millwall recently after what they got away with in 2016 against us & the recent knifing incident. Vile club with a vile manager & a much bigger percentage of idiots supporting them than at any other British club I can think of. I despised Sheff Utd back around the Morgan incident & them taking Howard & Bogdanovic & loves relegating them but to be honest they’re actually quite likeable at the minute. Local fella managing them & doing a great job without spending fortunes & having them play good football. Couldn’t stand Leeds back around the Brown / Butterfield incident & don’t really like them but Bielsa’s a brilliant manager & although I don’t want them to go up I’d be curious to see how he got on. Wednesday are just awful at the minute & I think they’ll end up deep in the **** financially. The owners clearly fed up after spending a fortune & failing to take them up. Probably dislike them the most out of the local clubs at the minute. Would serve them right if they end up in administration after the stick they gave us over Winnall. Also dislike Man Utd mainly because there’s that many football fans from Barnsley who support them or at least claim to. I wish some of them would grow up & stop been glory hunters & start watching their local team.
Called into Morrisons this afternoon and sat in the Cafe behind two blokes with broad Yorkshire accents talking in glowing terms about " their " team. Heard them mention the names De Bruyne, Silva and Sterling. !! Can never understand why some people turn into " pot hunters" and gravitate towards teams that are successful, instead of supporting a team in their own locality. When I lived in Donny, I knew a youth who supported Notts Forest during the Cloughie years, then switched to support Liverpool and when I left to come to live over this way to live, suddenly became a devotee of Manchester United. Beyond bizzare.!
Not random if you'd been there and your perfectly reasonable, well-behaved and all-round decent mate gets told to 'wind his neck in' by a Luton fan who read something Luton-related on here which he didn't like. The **** basically approached the first Barnsley fan he saw and started kicking off. Hence I wish them all the worst. Them and their living room away end.
Any incident like that is definitely going to leave a very bad taste. I've never had very much time for Grimsby since the flying corner flag incident in 1995. Followed by me and my dad getting chased by their muppets after the game. Which they had won.
for me its Barnsley FC.... they have lifted me to the highest of highs, and taken me to the lowest of lows. Bunch 'O' Bastads and I would not have wanted it any other way
