Anybody had a go or having a go? Thinking of giving it a try and just wondered if anyone has had any success or failure with it or tips for a beginner?

Had an account a few years back. Got the same money back as I put in. Seemed a bit strange in terms of how players value increased, people who were in the news not increasing as much as you would think they should, whilst others race up with no matches or news stories to increase them.

The more I’m reading, if you only want to invest small initially then it’s better to go either someone for long term (Declan rice or Chong at Man Utd) or bump it straight into Neymar who is always in the media every day

I had a go with their risk free January offer and bought about £100 worth of Higuain when he was in the media everyday before his loan to Chelsea was completed. In the end I sold him the day the deal was confirmed and made about £20 profit. I think getting that kind of short term return is rare though and as say you have to take a long term view and invest in some young and upcoming players.

I am currently debating whether I have got the time and overall knowledge about the players to get into it further. It’s an interesting concept though and from what I am hearing the number of new customers signing up is increasingly rapidly which will drive up the value of the shares .

I'm on it, put a tenner in and they matched it. I'm up to about £60 now and log in once a week on average to see where I am. Barely spent any time on it but had a couple of good buys, eg, Pogba who I bought one share of for £6.14 and he's now worth £19.60 plus a load of media points from his spat with Mourinho. I'm sure there's money to be made but for me it's too much effort and time consuming to do it properly so I don't fancy risking a load of money on it.

I was expecting you to end that with "...and a few days later I received one of his toenail clippings in the post."

Seriously though, what the heck is football index? It sounds a bit bonkers.

It’s alright mate but be careful because the players tend to get massively falsely inflated especially on game days, if someone especially young looks really impressive like Declan Rice did against Arsenal a few weeks back everybody bangs loads of money on which leads to them being falsely inflated in price, that soon ends up having price corrections and can be pretty annoying after a while lol

What’s your strategy pal and around what figure did you start out with if you don’t mind me asking? I’m thinking of spending roughly £10 a week on it should I start

I stuck £50 on to start with bud, didn’t make any massive gains tbh made about £30 and couldn’t be that bothered to carry on so just cashed it out! Some players aren’t on there aswell which was a bit annoying some championship teams have like 1 player on there and most of premier league teams have like half the squad on! Just to warn you you have to upload ID to withdraw funds and in some circumstances they ask you for a bank statement aswell bit of a ball ache but I guess worth it! And also only deposit what you can afford pal and you will be fine whatever you do

Strategy wise aswell basically just aim your money at young players you feel will have potential and you should be fine, I had most of my money on Declan rice and Matteo guendouzi and did alright lol

I've had an account 2 years now. Started off with 50 quid and I'm now upto 450 quid then I have 60 quid in dividends.

I did well with David Brooks. Bought shares at 30p and I sold them after the Chelsea game for 4 quid a share.
