Having just read it, it’s nice to see that they’re showing genuine concern for him as a person with a potential dangerous injury instead of a gloat-fest that it’s now going to result in them finishing top two. Don’t usually have a lot of time for Sunderland fans, but something of a classy act by them showing empathy for the big lad.
Chuffed to bits for Kieffer. I'm a bit p1ssed off with myself for believing gossip though. Lesson learnt. Listen to official reports before letting things ruin my day. I might have a drink after dinner to celebrate. To Kieffer
Just had a look at Sunderlands forum and tbf virtually all of them are sending best wishes to him rather than celebrating the injury. I don't see anything unacceptable
Some genuinely nice comments from their fans here https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/kieffer-moore.1461784/
Glad he’s gone home but the fact that he’s under continued surveillance suggests to me that he does have a serious injury. I think we need to be cautious with our celebrations until we know more. We know what happened when Hume went home. Get well soon Kieffer.
Im obviously very glad he’s okay, but Jesus I clearly need to have words with the person who told me. Apologies for the false info on my part.
The club has updated its statement from last night adding that Moore's now resting at home https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2019/february/kmoore-update/ Given the speculation fever on here and that a lot of it has been fueled by sources within the club being quoted, however accurately or not, on here the sooner the club puts out a more detailed account of Moore's injuries, and how long he may be out, the better. Until then people should calm down on what they think to be the medical situation as at best it's hearsay and at worst just guesswork.
What was said shouldn't have been. We all like gossip on here and it's to be expected especially with stuff like players coming in or going out. But the hearsay that was shared was severe and now it probably should have been left to the club to talk first as it's wrong.
There are two threads dedicated to him. Still the majority are nice comments https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/kieffer-moore.1461718/
That made me chuckle too. He's was top of their wish list and scored against them but a couple of them think he's a black lad.
For Barnsley to say hes at home at 10 30 and considering its 4 hours from gillingham it looks to me he might of been discharged last night. Hopefully nothing serious but you have to keep a eye on concussion
Just been on a long walk with the dog. Sat in a cafe with a pot of tea, a toasted teacake & the papers and just seen this great news about our boy. Do Sunday mornings get any better??
No he tagged Mapplewell Red in the original post. I think anyway it's all getting a bit confusing now.
