Routine ish win but who was better than all the rest?

 

I’m guessing Cauley is going to get it for scoring two, but Pinillos gets my vote tonight.

In my opinion his best in a red shirt.
Classy on the ball, defended well and got up and down. Couldn’t ask for any more. Great performance

 

I thought Pinnilos did very well today too. Very solid and can whip in a good ball.

 

Agreed, I don't think the defence is getting enough credit. Loved Dani's shoulder charge at the beginning of 2nd half

 

I thought McGeehan was faultless, other than the dumb yellow card at the end.

 

Pinillos for me today.

 

I thought both full backs did well today.

I had to give it to Woodrow though, mainly for the two goals yeah - but also as he’s constantly looking for space to receive the ball, and he’s very unselfish. Not always a brilliant attribute for a centre forward but it works for him.

Take today, on two goals, late in the game, he gets the ball in the outside left channel. The ponte all jump to their feet, “gu onnn”, he takes it down, runs to the corner, hedges joins him and they win a throw. Killed the game.

He’s a goalscorer - but also an intelligent player with game management ability. That along with his goals means he shaded it for me, but no issue with Pinillos getting it if he does.

 

Pinnillos, though hard to narrow it down today.

 

Woodrow gets it for his brace and he was unlucky not to get three. Special mention though for Bahre. He won us the penalty and Wycombe had no answer for his educated feet.

 

I’m glad others are seeing Dani as man of the match too. He’s been very good for us the last few games since he’s come into the side.

 

Woodrow for me. Pinillos is consistently competent but Cauley's the main reason we won the game today.

Top performance on and off the ball - seemed to be everywhere and linking everything up, as well as two excellent finishes.

 

Woodrow. I really wanted him to get his hat trick.

 

I was in the Ponty yelling get in the corner! Your right though many players on a hat trick would have gone for goal.
