    Recently introduced laws in football mean the double jeapody of having a red card along with the penalty is now avoided. He was never going to get a red card unless it was outside the box/dangerous play or violent conduct.

    So no, he wasn’t very lucky to not get a red card.

    My brother was just saying that Ethan was Bobby Moore-esque- he had a good game & one incident doesn’t spoil it. I want to see it again because, from the upper east stand, it looked a soft decision. Again my brother was just saying the ref had a decent game (for once) - on Tuesday, I’ll get the sod to keep his mouth shut

    I was sat in front of 2 scouts (not 12 year olds dressed in green wi shorts on) in West Stand. They didnt tell me directly but its was obvious they came to see our 2 centre backs. They were waxing lyrical about them both and indeed most of our team. Good times.
