Just to say a big thanks to the Ponte End, for the great atmosphere. Absolutely brilliant let it continue and get louder every week Red, red Red and white army
I think this is due to the stewards finally being a little more lenient about people sitting up in the top corner. Apparently people reckon they rip up seats, im not saying it hasn't happened the odd time, but I sit up there myself and never seen any bother just guys wanting to create abit of an atmosphere. You cant even buy tickets up there anymore which is strange.
All I could see pal was lads having a good time, also one lad playing the drum on the wall panels keeping everyone singing. Honestly we need to make Oakwell a fortress.
Yea I agree, but in the stewards defence I did speak to the supervisor at half time and asked her why were they so overly cautious about people sitting up there because ive never once seen anyone rip up a seat. Apparently its the people who sit in the security box near the away end that are instructing stewards to remove people from that area for whatever reason.
At the end of the day we all pay and if everyone coming together for the right reasons let it happen.
I’ve been told on a number of occasions that I helped make a decent atmosphere in the ponty and need to get back in there ASAP lol. All I did was same as some of the young ens by banging on side to get people singing and starting songs. I think me and mi son will be in the ponty next season.. happy to be issued with a drum by the club next season to create a better atmosphere in the CHAMPIONSHIP!
Good lad I would also be in the Ponty next season, but mi lads only 3 years old. And Don't want him telling the teacher "the Referees a ******"
Haha, that’s reason I moved into family stand wi mine. It’s his 6th birthday today lol, took him in ponty a few times already and he loves it. Loves to sing and get people singing. So looks like ponty next season much to the disapproval of his mam. Ha
It's great in there when our fans aren't battering each other at half-time, causing one of those involved to apparently lose the sight in one eye. Wish we could all just fvcking get along. I stress that everyone around me is wonderful. Massive love for The Reds, and it's pretty loud. But Jesus. Makes you think about your own conduct. Someone once called me a fvcking idiot and told me he'd not mind scrapping with me. I was shouting for Keith Hill to resign/get sacked. But I just walked away (it was the end of the game) and nothing came of it. It doesn't take much for stuff to go wrong, though. Badly, badly wrong...
