You forgot Rolls Royce engine design relocation to Germany (my cousins husband losing job in Derby), Nissan cancelling new 'X Trail' in Sunderland and British Aerospace.

Con trick on too many gullible members of the populace by Boris, Farridge, Gove and the rest.

And get this - Corbyn loves it too! Drastic need for an electable centrist alternative before we are all irredeemably shafted, in my view.

Overheard a conversation yesterday about how these Europeans would be falling over themselves to offer us a great deal shortly...I won't be holding my breath

According to the Bank of England and the 'Sunday Times Business section', Brexit has cost the UK economy £800 million a week since the referendum. There has been a 3.7% year on year drop in business investment and Britain's economic growth last year was 1.4%, the weakest since 2009. But 'hey ho' those hardline Brexiters know what they voted for.

and a change to our voting system - the Tories have been in overall power for just 2 years since the Major government ended in 1997 and look how much havoc they have created with well under half of voters voting for them

I heard a report today that Europe had stopped or are stopping tariffs on Japanese goods therefore encouraging Japanese firms to relocate back to Japan .
Interesting timing considering the looming brexit .
A kick in the ballax for us eh ?

Good question - I am hopefully driving to France on 5th April to go skiing
Still dont know if I need an international driving permit and or green card
Mrs has had to renew passport early as in no deal brexit it might not be accepted - despite being valid until November ( there were a few extra months added last time it was renewed and advice is these dont count towards the 6 months validity anymore)
Still not clear if the Tunnel will be running - though I am on the ferry which should be OK as long as I can get through the lorries queuing

of course if A50 is extended or Mays wonderful deal gets forced through I wont have any problems but it would be nice to know more than a week before

Yes Europe agreed a Free trade Deal with Japan a few weeks ago so there will be no tariffs on Japanese goods - unless they are made in the UK of course when for example cars will get a 10% tariff applied. We would of course still benefit from the Japanese deal if we stay in the EU but if we leave we have to do our own deal with Japan and we will have a much weaker negotiating position - Japan already said they wont just roll the EU deal over

Trade deal signed a while ago between EU and Japan that Liam Fox was saying was fantastic and totally missing the point that after Brexit we will have no access to it and it will work against us

I'm in Austria from 9th to 23rd March, due back here on 26th March, 3 days before we jump off the cliff. I may well end up stopping there if the current shambles continues. What a total mess!

It's a bit too Swiss/Austrian for the 52 per cent.

Can we put them up against the wall, please?

Doesn't that make people dislike the EU even more and wouldn't that lead to a Leave vote if we had a second referendum .

They are just sticking to a trade deal we were part of negotiating.
