And not from the 81st. I think perhaps we've become a bit predictable and he'd offer something completely different

Need to do something. We have to break this duck against "10 big lads behind the ball" formations.

Hedges on for Thiam so looking unlikely now - it’d like to see him - his speed is something different

If Hedges is in front of him then that tells you all you need to know really...

Hedges is bang average at best.

Our substitutions are so predictable from our weakened bench. Green should be getting far more game time than he is. If he's one for the future and not for right now, then January wasn't the time to sign him.

A blind man can see that... but still ahead of Green. We have/are signing players who are chances

Stendel must have his reasons, but that cameo from Green on his home debut looked extremely promising. Unfinished article definitely but he had pace to burn, great desire and a touch of quality about him that day

Do not agree. He looked like one of those who we fish out from the second team.

Whatever his true long term quality it doesn’t appear from his lack of game time that he is thought ready enough even as a late impact sub.

It would have been nice to have added someone who would have brought an immediate boost to the promotion push. Lameiras from Plymouth for example.

Why have we signed him? If we get promoted he’s nowhere near Championship standard, and we’re not helping him improve by not playing him!

Stendel must know hes not upto job but we have no one else to put on bench. Hedges might not be upto much but he is tried and tested at this level where green is not. He could be one for future or will just be loaned out if we go up.....

Stendel sees him in training every day - he obviously sees him as a work in progress.

It goes back to the age old question of who signs the players though? If 'someone' identifies a target, he ticks all the boxes regarding age, resale value etc and we then sign him. But then he turns up to training and the gaffer thinks "Christ he's not ready yet" then I suppose he has to go with the bloke he thinks he can trust.

Wow. Imagine if someone thought you were a doom merchant. I don't think I could comprehend just how positive that person would have to be.
