    my son is over in Barnsley for the weekend,can anyone recommend a dog friendly bar as he wants to watch the Liverpool game. He's staying up dodworth so doesn't have to be in town. Thanks in advance

    Stupid question i know where this is as I was born in barugh green but when I google fox and hounds it comes up as the millers is this the same place now ?

    Lol, sorry I was being daft.

    I've just googled dog friendly pubs in Barnsley and it brings up The Thornely Arms in Dodworth, The Talbot in Mapplewell etc. Just google dog friendly pubs in Barnsley :)

    The Thornely allows dogs in the tap room only, but the wonders of modern technology are lost on them. They don't have Sky, neither do they have a card machine or wifi. Nice beer, that's about it.
