Just cos there are no tickets via e ticketing. We may not have sold out. This is a common statement Tuesday b4 a Saturday game. (Due to posting etc) As it’s a Friday game I assume they’ve done the same except a day earlier. So I would only take that we’d sold out if on club news. And not on at mo. Hope we do sell out by the way.
We only take 1500 normally even though we have sold out nearly everytime apart from a night game where we took over 2,500. He must be mixing the supporters up.
I think everybody knows we are their ultimate game. Theyve had a massive chip on their shoulders about us ever since they reappeared 15 years ago, possibly because we are the club they realistically aspire to be in terms of attendances, stadium, facilities, usual championship place etc. For a borough the size of Doncaster their football team is pathetic as is the attendances. Sadly, they’ll never live upto this grand design they seem to have instilled in their minds and they’ll always be some noisy little chavvy neighbour that noone gives a **** about.
Last few times we have been we took good numbers under Wilson we took over 2k and hadn't won away for over 2 months. Under lee Jay on the infamous 9 game losing streak we took just short of 3k but they was a 20 is plenty ticket offer. We has sold 3700 for tomorrow but the total gate won't be much over 10k.
There was a cracking atmosphere for that 2015/16 game under Johnson. Who'd have thought at the time we'd go up via play-offs and they'd be relegated.
