No Chance - he is an expert and I thought the government had had enough of those - one of the reasons why we are in this mess

I genuinely thought you were going to tell us that Operation Yewtree had him in their sights.

I thought you were going to say he was dead. That's what normally happens with threads with just a (none footballing) name in them.

Better off with Ted Rogers 3 2 1
It seems we only get one vote to come out of Europe but May gets three chances to put her same deal through .
So in essence she keeps going till she gets the right result whilst condemning a second ref stating it’s not right to keep asking the people to vote till we get the right deal .

The whole Brexit issue would be funny if it wasn't such a mammoth **** up.
This Prime Minister will probably go down as the most inept this
Country has ever had. For ages, she's been saying she would never
take No deal off the table. Just as it looks likely that Parliament will vote
on it and probably will win a majority, she now says she will vote to do just that.
    What an absolute mess.

Not sure Marlon I think Terry Wogan or Les Dawson would have got out their Blankety BLANK chequebooks and pens. That would have sorted it.

Vote not to leave EU without a deal has carried by 312 votes to 308.
Tomorrow they now vote on extending the time frame to leave, if we
    do ever leave that is.

I'd normally have sympathy for her, but I have absolutely none because of that. She knew what she was getting into, but it was pure greed for her personally and her party.

I will never understand why people vote for politicians who do things for themselves personally, or their party at the expense of their country.

Be lucky if we can extend it further. 27 countries in the EU have got to vote in favour of us to have to option before we can.

    Can’t see that happening.

Farage and others reported as trying to persuade some of the leaders of the other 27 countries to NOT agree to an extension.
Result would be the UK leaving without a deal on March 29

what an absolute grade a lovely person of a man he is. spent years villifying, castigating, demonising the very institution he's now cosying up with, to actively engineer the one outcome which will immeasurably f.cu.k the country up. all with a big stupid smirk on his face. he should be locked up in the tower with the ravens.

I stopped watching the news about a month ago and abandoned twitter as the whole thing was making me depressed, and I don’t use that word lightly. I don’t have a clue what’s going on and I feel much better for it. Might as well put Noel in charge, he can’t do any worse then the pile of ***** currently at the helm can he?

I'm sure he's reminding the other members of the EU of their obligation to ensure EU members abide by the EU's founding principles in Article 7 - that' of respecting the democratic will of the people - and that that requires the EU to sanction any member state and suspend their membership of the EU until they comply with the democratic will of the people.

They could save themselves a lot of hassle by ensuring the oppressors of democracy don't get their way.

Brexit was the democratic will of those that could be arsed to vote three years ago and before it was confirmed what a total and utter disaster it would become.
Still...carry on sailing for the rocks eh?

The rocks are painted on the inside of your eyelids.
It's a mirage all drummed up by the nefarious forces at work for their own good.

Where is the disaster that was predicted the day after the brexit vote???
