Shame for Sunderland. It would help us if he's out for at least three weeks so he starts to miss league games. But I wouldn't wish injury on anyone even though it helps our own cause.

Its better for us if he's in their starting line up every week, he's terrible.

    His withdrawal is unjustified .

He'll be fit for the next Sunderland game.

Honestly don’t care would rather go up knowing our club had come out on top with its rivals teams best players being avail and playing.

Not going into the gloating part about a player like some Sunderland fans did when Kieffer Moore got injured.

I don't think they'll care if our injuries help them go up.

Too right, A Sunderland fan at work actually cheered out loud when she heard of Moore’s head injury. I didn’t rise to it of course. Then today she said Dougall wouldn’t have got a broken leg at Donny if he’d have been sent off against them.. Puzzled with that one. I’m holding it all back and When we get that automatic place then watch out. On second thoughts, wearing a permanent broad smile and constantly talking about the Championship might be enough.

Apparently Dougal was really dirty in the Sunderland game according to them. Don't think Grigg has played that well since coming to Sunderland to see his injury as very significant in the way Moore's was.

He got Sunderland's winner the other day and has scored 3 goals in the last 7 games.

I’m sure they won’t, but I’m not going to lower myself to that kind of gloating about injuries.

Grigg is a proven league 1 striker and started scoring goals for them. I'd be amazed if he missed any Sunderland games with this apparent injury.

    I'd welcome a violent, injury-hit Checkatrade final.

Why shouldn't Sunderland fans be pleased if half our squad is injured or suspended? They don't hate us but they want to go up.

Similarly, if Grigg's got a bad injury then it's good for us. I don't hate him or Sunderland. But I want us to go up. I don't care how we do it or what hardships other clubs have to put up with. Whatever falls our way, I'll take it.

One was v Bristol in the paint pot the other league goal was a pen. So looking at it another way 1 league goal from open play so far...

Not saying he is crap because he is proven at league one but he has hardly hit the ground running for a team who should be pissing this league. Can't say I was impressed with him last Tuesday either tbh

Great that’s your prerogative but it’s just not the way I feel that I want to celebrate other teams players being injured.
