    First choice for Guardiola at city in front of Sane and Mahrez in a side which might win four major trophies.

    I was constantly critical of Sterling during the World Cup as he was next to useless for the majority of our campaign (though he had a good first half against Croatia) and I'd have dropped him after the first few group games as he obviously wasn't performing.

    However I thought he played great tonight, against what is (in fairness) a pretty middling Czech side.

    Am I a racist?

    People on here claiming sterling was useless at work again haven’t got a clue!! He was the on player for England making the runs in behind stretching the defence making room in the final Third for Kane who was useless btw!!

    Find me a better player in the prem this season I’ll wait?? Oh wait clowns on here like to pretend that sky tv and watching premier league football is a sin!! Idiots!!

    Sorry had had a few last night. Wasn't necessarily offended by the OP

    I just dont get however why someone who was constantly slating him in summer chooses to create a thread making a further dig after he's scored a hattrick. Its weird and given the targeting of him in media which has been race driven I think it is understandable to consider that the motivation for it could be racially driven.
