cnnot see any reason why not, that's if Doctors give him the all clear to do so.

How would he be able to head the ball?

A defender for inter Milan used to wear one a few seasons back, no problem.

I don't think we should rush him back though the medical professionals ruled him out for a reason.

I can remember a couple posters getting dogs abuse off some when they had it on good authority that big keef had fractured his skull. But reading between the lines i would say that its not hard to come to the conclusion that they were probably right and he has.

It probably did. I think at this point it's fair to say that the injury was something more than a concussion and the club has been deliberately vague about the nature of the injury and the timescale for his return.

    He may have.

However, he said on Sky he's back in full training and seeing a specialist again in 3 weeks in the hopes of getting cleared.

I actually gave you some grief for that and i've been waiting for you to pop back up again to apologise for that. In hindsight i'd say your mate was closer to the truth then what we'll have been led to believe

The club want him back for pre-season.

My gut feeling tells me if we needed him should we not get automatic promotion then he may want to.put himself forward.

My gut feeling tells me he plays last couple of games, if it's looking touch and go.

    Could be wrong, though.

You deserve an apology from the ones that slated you, I had the feeling you were right all along, and I thought you would have received the apology by now.

My gut feeling says so also. Something in the way he said it on sky. "I`ll be match fit in a couple of weeks and ready if called upon and needed."
Not sure if he realised he had said too much as he then said "but it`s looking like next season".
Don`t get me wrong it`s his health first and I`d rather him be ok but it would be a massive boost.

His health is paramount to us. However, if the lad wants to play and the specialist passes him fit. I'd let him play.

His health has to come first.

If he decided, on medical advice, to come back for the last couple of games it would give everyone a lift.

I'm hoping we can do it with the players we currently have fit, but my personal feeling is it's about 50/50. If we'd won on Saturday that would have put massive pressure on Sunderland.

It's clearly club policy not to give any details on injuries.
