We someone like him to let opponents know there having a game.Woodrow needs some help as well.Jackson always liked to get forward for free kicks and corners when he was in the team.He would also be extra help when defending our own goal area.It wouldn't be the first time we've tried a defender at centre forward.
As much as I enjoyed the spectacle of the brief Big Jean experiment under Micky Mellon, it's a no from me.
When you see something like this - you realise you are watching a different sport at a different moment in time.
Not for me. OK for defenders going forward for corners and free kicks, but to be up there for all the game is a big ask. Out of our 3 central defenders, I would say Jackson is probably the least comfortable with the ball and not as physical as Pinnock or Lindsay. Play someone like that up front and you're asking for a very direct approach.
Sorry but on Saturday we tried to push the big lads forward in last ten minutes and it nearly cost us the game.Theres no way l would change the big lads at back.
