Thiam is so frustrating summed up by one og the best bits of control you will ever see then bursts into the box leaves the defender on his arse, followed by stupidly slamming the ball into the side netting from a almost impossible angle when the easy ball to Woodrow was on.
He did play well overall today but some of his decision making is shocking, if we go up I can't see him doing well in the championship.

Cam was ace today as was brown after first 15 min. Thiam was on last chance saloon for me today and just about did enough but his body language is so poor sonetimes bordering on showing no interest.

Neither deserved MOTM. McGeehan I thought continued his post ban blues.

Mowatt and Pinnock stood out. As per.

I just don't see the Mowatt love in . Corners were miles better today with Mcgeehan on them . Mowatt is just steady for me, he doesn't really do owt outstandingly well .

Pinnock although we didn’t come under incessant pressure was head and shoulders above any player on the pitch today imo

Yes but that was his worst 2.3 seconds out of 90 mins today.

Someone behind us called him "a useless black b------" after he tried to shoot from an acute angle.

We all made a point of applauding him after his brilliant assist a few minutes later.

I wouldn't have given him MOM. I thought Woodrow was excellent today & Jordan Williams had a great game too. He never wastes a ball & has decent pace.
Agree Mowatt & Pinnock as usual & Davies for a couple of excellent stops probably shaded it.

It was obvious today that things changed around from the players meeting. Cam mcgeehan was on the ball loads more spraying balls about and fizzing corners in. Also noticed davis attempting to come out further for crosses and pinnock trying too hard to over stretch for headers that were maybe out of his reach. Keep it up boys.

Woodrow looked like he wanted to kill Thiam at one bit when he didn’t do the simple pass. He even made a point to turn to a Stendel 50 yard away and gestures towards Thiam.

And then a few minutes later Thiam does incredibly well and sets up the third goal, to which woodrow finds him and they all hug and smile at each other.

    Funny people footballers.

I thought Jackson was excellent considering he’s hardly played this season. Didn’t put a foot wrong. Mcgeehan gave the ball away too cheaply and as said previously Thiam’s decision making is atrocious at times.

Mowatt - I'm not sure it's a love in. More of a praise regarding a consistent performance match by match.

I thought McGeehan was substandard when we got him. Then there was a time that he looked the part. Now again he's looking League 1 at best. When he's got time he can spread it about well. Under pressure he's looking less than average again.

83 mins actually, as I said he played well on the whole and hes not the only one who makes poor decisions, I suppose I have to accept that's why these players are in league one. It often feels like our target is to have as many shots as possible regardless of distance and better options available.

I’ve said before - Thiam’s a confidence player. He’ll be his own worst critic for not scoring recently. Almost too much pressure on himself, which can be a strikers/wingers biggest problem.

As for his shoot/pass decisions, I think that depends on his instructions. He’s a shot on him, so no doubt he’ll be instructed to bang it when he sees the target. That’s maybe why he doesn’t always pass it.

If he can notch one soon, I think he’ll go on to bag a couple more in final games.

Davies mom for me. Made important saves after their goals. When heads went down a while.

Was surprised at Cam’s award. Some of his passing was Lindseyesque (Championship) and I don’t mean that in a good way! However I love the fact he doesn’t hide and always wants the ball. I thought Pinnockhad a great game, though as an eleven we were a bit shamboliic defensively at times.
Some much better performances but on balance i’d Have given it to Davies. His ‘balls up’ at the start of the game was farcical but his saves in the second were outstanding.

Pinnock. Followed by Davies. Which says a bit about how comfortable that victory was.
