I was in London for New Year I still remember my dad coming into the room with a massive grin and telling me the score. "And guess who scored the winner!"
I only recall that first game back in the Second Division. I wondered how we would do after promotion, but my fears were needless as we finished just short of a double promotion.
The trouble is it has the opposite effect if we don't win. I would much rather we play simultaneously to our rivals.
Results went 1 better then I hoped Saturday so another repeat of that and our destiny is back in our hands.
Me too. Sunderland won their game in hand in the week then lost when playing a normal game same as us. I think if they know we lost or only drew it makes things a lot easier for them than when we are all playing together. In any case at the moment Sunderland and Pompey have to win their game in hand and then do no worse than us in the run in I still think if we win 3 and draw the other of the last 4 games it is likely to be enough. Win all 4 and that should definitely do it. To be honest I am more worried about Pompey now - they seem to have had their bad run and are back in top form
Given the choice, I'd agree, but as we don't have a choice, I'll take the 5-1 home win Besides, watching The Reds and trying to keep track of the Sunderland scoreline was a bloody nightmare on Saturday... ...they've conceded, they've equalised, they've conceded, they've conceded, they've scored, they've equalised, they've conceded, they've equalised, they've conceded... ...not sure I want to go through that again.
There were 3 new faces sat behind us on Saturday and the female kept excitedly announcing the Sunderland score. Trouble is, she was about 10 minutes behind everyone else .
Didn't look myself but blokes behind me were and then when I thought it a draw at half time and they announced it as 3 - 2! I'm assuming they will win or draw as Doncaster have 4 wins now.
