Access to the main building I would’ve thought will have CCTV in it even if it’s from pitch side

Denied the assault on Ousmane Dabo initially too.

Just checked Ousmane's Twitter. It's hidden to non-followers but I would love to see if he has had any say on our incident.

it's said that it's harder for an innocent man, if charged, to prove his innocence than it is for a charged guilty man to prove his innocence.

In the money ruled world of Football the incident or incidents will be played down what at first appears to be an act of thuggery will dissapear into a misunderstanding between 2 managers in the heat of the moment.

He's bound to say that... Most thugs believe they are innocent and its their divine right to lie... Its up to the prosecution to prove it now .. given his previous record for violent conduct I like many assume he's guilty... However the powers that be CPS.. will study the evidence and then tell the police if the case is strong enough to proceed to court..fingers crossed it is and he is then found guilty....
In my opinion sticking him in the nick won't work .. Fines don't either he just re offends...afraid to say until and I'm not suggesting they should but until someone turns the tables on him and hurts him real bad to the point he sees the damage every morning in the mirror he will never alter ..

Find it difficult to believe that Stendel & Barton were the only 2 people in the tunnel at the time. There must be some witnesses ... even if it's just a giant sized dog called Toby

He gives a lot away here

    1. He is clearly stating allegations have been made so he has been contacted by the Police as we know the EFL won't do anything until the police Finnish up
    2. He also knows that the matter isn't closed and we know a man has been bailed until May. As such you can assume he is expecting or been told things will be open for a while. Unless he is thinking that his name will be aligned until the mystery man gets cleared or charged
    3. He is getting his position out early. Given he is also on Twitter i think a lot of people could have fell into his trap. The overwhelming abuse and comments will support his argument that he is being victimised and his past reputation is being used to reflect on this case. The normal protocol is to say nowt so i question why he has gone public and especially on twitter. I fear all the responses will only serve to help him, hinder the police

    i love a good conspiracy

As long as he’s called to give evidence in full kit with the head on, mind, or it’s inadmissible. I’d pay serious coin to see that.

What's the phrase " give him enough rope".

It's coming towards Easter holidays, I fully expect him to be charged when he goes back in May.

I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next man; but how come so many Barnsley fans assume the worst?
‘Someone’ has been arrested and bailed.
The charges were quite specific, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were eye witnesses and /or footage.
Barton has allegedly admitted to pushing Daniel (in a leaked story ‘in his defence’)
Barton denies assault (as he has done on previous occasions prior to conviction)
Due to the serious nature of the allegations, Fleetwood would be daft to act first
The EFL and FA likewise will wait till the police case concludes.

There’s no conspiracy, it’s just due process, and it takes time. Between now and May the police build their case and take it to the CPS. The CPS will decide whether to press charges, but given the swift reaction of the police, I’m guessing it’s a pretty strong case.

He’s not bright enough to get away with it, otherwise he wouldn’t have the reputation he has. Stands to reason if he was capable of covering his tracks we’d all be surprised at the allegation. He’s not just done it before, he’s been found guilty before, he’s hardly a master criminal, just a thug that lies to protect himself. Common as muck.

He is quite a bright bloke. Was also a good footballer. His racism & and anger are his issue & he seems to care little. He knows he can become another Tommy Robinson type, when he gets jailed, if not for this something worse.

Judging from their initial tweets, I would imagine Cavare and Woodrow witnessed it.
