Maybe it is 3. I was going on the previous post saying 4. When you consider the lack of pens and complete paucity of set piece goals we’ve done well to top 70 goals from mainly open play.
We must have least number of goals from corners in the league. Would love to see the stats.....

You can just see that Moncur is poison for the group, no doubting he has ability but he just looks so arrogant and big time. Taking control of ball then ya could see others just let him have it for an easy time.

Four was a bit of a guess. We did have one in the FLT. Think that’s right about taking shots from outside the box reducing our chances of penalties but even so...

Every time I’ve seen them they’re absolutely gash on a stick. Proper toss. This league is an absolute disgrace that they can get 48 points.

This ref is just easing Luton on their way. 2 penalty shouts waved away for Accrington.

This doesn't augur well for Sunderland's game in hand against them either. It'll be another 3 points there for the taking.

I'd be more worried about injuries not the result. I've seen farmers fields looking better than the Wham pitch.

Tha bang on. This league full stop is ****, l said we'd piss it along with Sunderland with 90pts in the summer - I'm not far off. Its also the reason why every Saturday evening Nudgers posts about wasting chances/a better team would have battered us etc are even more comical, we can do that every week in this league because nobody is going to take advantage of it.

    Next seasons a different story.

Yep, that's them gone now for me.

I thought today was a potential banana skin for them, but Accrington seemed to want to chuck it away from the off.

    Well done to em.

Scored from a Moncur corner. He keeps racking up the goals he's involved in one way or another.

Looking like it. Obviously gelled very well when all been put together. Accrington looked bad yesterday but not taking anything away from Luton

Fair play to em, with January's squad additions I said they would go up as champions. We were all hoping Accrington would take some points off them yesterday as it would have kept Luton right in the mix with the pressure on. However they are now pretty much home and hosed, it would take a monumental **** up for them to miss the top two from here.
So with Charlton now out the equation it's one from three for the second automatic spot and that should be whittled down to one from two after Sunderland play Pompey next weekend. We can't afford to slip up at Plymouth now.

Yep, made a massive difference. Yesterday even with our transfer signings we were down to 6 players on the bench of whom only two had started two games at most and four who had never played for us. Not likely to get any better in the foreseeable, couple more injuries on Accrington's ploughed field yesterday. Still nearly there now, one win from last three probably enough, but one and a draw would do it. Very exciting for second - great effort if you make it

You totally deserve it mate, and in truth, think most of the teams immediately below you conceded, a while back, that there was only second spot to play for.
Even losing your manager didn't derail you, so hats (no pun) off to you.

Would love it if a load of your fans turned up to the match that clinches it in David Pleat style cream suits and celebrate like lunatics.
    Get it organised.
