Even when Blackpool got their lucky goal and Jacob Brown was injured, our team didn't get flustered, kept to the game plan and came away with a much deserved three points. We played some lovely stuff at times, despite a few fans (ie me!:D) getting extremely anxious. In the end, I felt 2-1 flattered Blackpool and we comfortably managed the game out. The back four were rock solid, in my opinion, but it helps having the division's best goalkeeper behind you.:D
We've ended the season unbeaten at home in the league (for the first time in fifty one years), we have the best defensive record in the entire EFL and we've smashed our season's points total club record (since three points for a win was introduced). Not bad, not bad at all.
We now need to finish the job next Saturday. I'd love it if we could grab the title, but as long as we win promotion that's fine by me.

One of my favourite performances of the season. Given the pressure we were under we were absolutely fantastic.

Anything but a Barnsley win would have been a travesty, should have been 4 or 5, I really don't know how Thiam missed that header in the first half or Moore missed the volley from a corner in the second half, both looked harder to miss.....

After that match, I refuse to criticise any of our lads.

No criticism intended, I occasionally miss my mouth when supping a pint, I was merely illustrating that the score should have been more comfortable.

First time in my 48 years of attending games we have gone a whole season without a home defeat. It’s great when now a rare home draw feels like a defeat. Eg Coventry.
Shame we didn’t get another couple of goals and give us a better chance of the title. Would love to go up as Champions. But can live with 2nd. Hopeful that Peterborough can do us a favour and take the promotion pressure off at least
Bristol have the worst home record in the league and years of supporting us means I’m still worried we can manage to fall at the last even though I think we can do it

Yup, which is why I mentioned since three points for a win being introduced.

Thought he did well to get to the chance ... decent effort in my eyes. Easier chances were missed by our two main strikers

Totally agree. They just kept their composure and cranked up the pressure until Blackpool cracked. It was incredibly well done.

What impressed me was how we upped the tempo once we'd taken the lead.

Flew into every challenge, hounded Blackpool, gave them no time to get into a rhythm and think about getting a goal back.

Very impressive stuff, don't know if this was a team decision of a call from the sidelines.

this team for me are a joy to watch and thoroughly deserve the plaudits that they receive week in week out from the majority on here.

we have a solid core to the team from davies, pinnock & lindsay to the midfield dynamo's of mowatt & mcgeehan and topped by the cherries on the top in moore & woodrow!

add to that the emergence of our starman playing on the right and we should all be like the cat that got the cream!!

the future's bright the future is RED!!!

The pressure before we scored felt so intense - seemed like wave after wave of a BFC attack
