    Would be huge achievement for this young team and I really hope they do it. It’d be great and they should go out to win the Bristol Rovers game as handsomely as they can and test Luton’s resolve.

    But I’ll be honest. If they spent the rest of the week supping and got absolutely mullered on Saturday like Oxford back in 97, the players stumbling round half arsed, with Stendel doing the post match interview p*ssed up, in his shades and a sporting a wide grin, I’d be just as happy I reckon, in fact absolutely delighted!

    Totally agree, I would love it if the lads all came out rat arsed, just toe pegging it out of play with odd socks on and their shirts on back to front. Daniel asleep on Tonge's shoulder, and Davies comes out in oven gloves. Probably still win 1-0

    Not bothered at all about the title. Means very little. The prize we wanted, we've got. Time to look to next season and securing as many of this team as possible. Pretty sure at they would more than hold their own.

    When we were promoted in 96/97 we got a glass replica of the Championship trophy for finishing runners up.

    Mm, no sorry. I want them to put 6 or 7 past the gas and be in with a shout of winning the pot.
    No disrespect or malice towards the gas but division champions don't come around too often.

    Totally disagree. These players are paid a lot of money and they can piss it up as much as they want after the Rovers game. I hated the performance against Oxford in 97. That showed a lack of respect for BFC and Oxford. Play to the end of the season!! I can understand players not wanting to pick up an injury when we're already promoted but is it too much to ask for them to put in a shift particularly when we could go up as champions? Get the piss-ups over now and concentrate on a convincing win on Saturday.

    I think the Premiership promotion was a bit different. It was a much bigger thing, they'd had loads of press coverage all the week before. I loved the Oxford match.

    This time I want the win to be champions.

    I’m £150 up from Bet365 if we win the league so I hope they do it, but other than that I’m not arsed.

    I’m pretty sure the piss ups will be on hold now until Saturday night. There’s a Bank Holiday weekend for the celebrations as well as Weds night for the civic reception.
    Let’s have a crack at winning the league, something most of us have never seen.
    Reckon we’ve a good chance too. Be daft to waste it.

    I know for a fact I won’t be able to see colours on the day, so I wouldn’t know if we’d won the league or not until we’re on the way home from Bristol on Sunday.

    It's one of the things I'm desperate to see in my lifetime. We've been able to tick so many things off in recent years and this would be high on the list. I'm getting on a bit now, so there won't be many more chances. If it takes another 38 years to be in this position, I certainly won't still be around.

    I want to Win the title. I think the team do too. It will be great on their playing CV and put a bob or two on their value. I think anyone who has watched the club since the 1950s deserves nothing less than a Championship we have suffered enough over the years with little to get excited about. Let me me go to my grave a happy fan.

    8/1? I doubt you got that high tbh, 5s was the best I saw. You might have got 16s tthough after we lost at Wycombe!

    11£ ew at 8-1 sky bet first 4 at start of season , and then another few lucky 15 bets with Barnsley in them at 8-1 . You must have been looking in wrong places
