    Don't know the answer to that, but the other week, I was chatting about it with my daughter, and neither of knew what CK Beckett does. We looked it up. I still can't remember now. Is it scrap metal?

    Ye they scrap metal merchants between Shafton and Royston . Only knew because I looked them up when they started sponsoring the disabled stand etc.
    That’s why I was wondering with them being local if they had any interest because of the sponsor .
    I don’t think they’ll have done it for publicity for the buisness though because they were massive reds fans and it’ll have given them a buzz sponsoring them as it would have done me if I were ever in a position to do same .

    They are and were big fans, in all seriousness. Kev Beckett is no longer with us of course.

    As for new sponsor, I think the big bucks come from the betting organisations. Whilst I understand some will have moral issues with this, I certainly don’t. Kids size shirts won’t carry the sponsor if this is the case by the way.

    bet365 have a fair few clubs already so could be possible. Can’t be SkyBet as they are league sponsor; so I’m thinking possibly a Far East based one, Chien Lee, even though Americanised, will have contacts.

    Or maybe Paddy Power? They are a massive company, could be looking to reach further out to football? You never know
