    I'm pretty sure we will, probably more than once if Pinnock leaves. We'll need to pay in excess of 2 million for a new striker I reckon, just for starters.

    I'd like to think that we will be spending upwards of £6 million this summer on three or four additions. Not breaking the bank but a bit of an increase.

    Said before but it should be broke as a statement of intent from the new owners. Instead of the usual undisclosed fee where the only people who don't know the fee are our fans, they should big up the fee.

    2 to 3 million pound players come with 2 to 3 million pound players wages, I think thats the problem unfortunatley.

    Exactly this. There has been a few studies i believe where it was found the ability to pay bigger wages rather than bigger fees are the key enabler to expected success

    If we do break the record I hope that they prove to be more successful than Hristov (8 goals in 45 games) and Sheron (33 goals in 152 games). I seem to recall that Sheron only ever seemed to make an effort when a new manager was appointed. However we did go through about 5 or 6 of them whilst he was with us

    I didn't mind Mike Sheron. Why he was dropped for Garry Mcswegan, Tony Bedeau and Richard Naylor when he was our top scorer at the time 'll never know?
