Thanks for this. I've been wanting to see it again for ages. I was there in the corner getting pelted with all sorts. A mate had the video and I've been trying to get him to dig it out for years.

I was at that game. Remember getting dogs abuse from their fans. Mickey Mouse club was the most polite thing they came up with. The rest was pretty nasty. When we turned it round to 3-2 the place went deathly quiet. Met a Sunderland supporting friend after the game. Not long after that she transferred her allegiances to Newcastle!

Yep I was there too. We were told to leave before the end by a bobby after the bricks started coming across. Could not guarantee our safety. This result put them into a relegation play-off (remember them?).

Proper ground, proper players, what an away kit!

Paul Futcher and Joe Joyce - such classy footballers.

I was thinking that myself! A lot of class there in Gray, Beresford, Futcher, and Joyce. Add Agnew and Cross to that and it's slightly bewildering just how ***** we were for the first couple of months of the season!
