    Just seen the clip on Twitter. Couldn’t we have sent it to Accrington to see Stanley or Blackpool to stop them having to play in that beach of theirs?

    Was told by someone at the club at the time that the owners at Blackpool refused to pay for proper sports turf and insisted on ordinary grass seed.
    Could be utter b#llox, but it wouldn't surprise me.

    I follow Accrington's owner on twitter (@AndyhHolt)....he regularly posts pictures of the ground improvements theyre doing including a new pitch...quite a good insight of how far they have come recently if you have a browse through is profile.

    I read it on here I think or it could have been tykes talk on fb where someone said we are having 3g/ astro turf around the perimeter which is currently the orange gravel / skin remover stuff, anybody heard if this is happening TIA
