Nixon has just blocked me. I think it’s because I suggested that you can’t believe what you read in The Sun. What a sensitive soul.

    They'll both leave.

The only way we've got a chance of keeping them is if the club offer them silly contracts which I wouldn't even dream of doing. I love Moore, hes had a brilliant season but I just don't think he'll cut it in the championship so personally I'm not too concerned if he leaves.

Cant help but feel the same with Lindsay too, he was below average the last time in the championship. I know you cant really judge them on their past but if we was to get a offer that was 2million plus then I'd snap their hands off.

These new owners arent silly. They wont risk the club being relegated again, that relegation cost them ALOT of money, money they haven't yet made back, but they're very intelligent folk and wont make and hasty decisions. I'm excited to see who comes thru the door, and you should all feel the same.

I guarantee we will be looking at a higher calibre of player than we have over the last 8/9 year. Yes some will come from league one, yes some will be from abroad but Stendel and the scouting network will nail it.

Get attached to any of our players at your peril. I vowed two years ago never to do so again. Hero worship isn't what it used to be. We were spoilt in the 1980s and 1990s to enjoy the likes of Glavin and Redfearn for so long. These days we are lucky to keep hold of our favourite players for 12 months. It's inevitable there will be head turning offers to either club or player in the next two windows. It remains to be seen to what extent departures are allowed to happen. I trust no-one where money is concerned, whether that be club reassurance or player loyalty.

I get what you’re saying and every time we sell a few I say the same but after a successful season like we’ve had, it’s hard not to have favourites.

I love the spine of our team and hope none of them leave without giving us another shot in the championship but I guess money talks and it probably will again this summer.

Nixon just doing his job. Gets a fair bit right - ie Hecky changing agent just before he went. Can't remember anyone else reading that rune. As for Liam to Brescia - they have just gone up to Serie A, but hardly inspiring otherwise - average crowd 7,500. Unless he fancies an Italian job.

He got plenty right when we had Hecky as head coach. But when he left us he got a lot wrong and started getting plenty of Leeds stuff correct all of a sudden.

Like any journo he has his sources. Agents being one of them and managers he gets on with. Most of us read this stuff. Re Barnsley well we have been the ultimate selling club in recent times so you can hardly blame him for thinking more are set to go.

currently signed up until 2021 so 2 more years left - no urgency for us to sell or extend during the summer though we could do if we want to same as for Woodrow. We may even be in discussions

All footballers are members of The Self Preservation Society. I wouldn't rule anything out.

In that case the 2million fee I've seen been thrown about is a joke no need to sell.

There should be a campaign from fans the efl the government and mary whitehouse for football money to be shared more fairly it's an utter disgrace and the fat cats running the game are as bent as sepp blatter et al. I bet some uefa tossa got a backhander for the baku euro final.

I'm not that fussed who stays or who goes as long as money is invested back into the playing squad.

There might be a rebuild on the cards this summer. Exciting times.

However a £10million bid would blow the bloody doors off.

The trouble being, the money never is really is it. When did we ever receive £ 3m for a player and gone out and spent the same amount on another player, never. Its usually back to the begining, similar player to the player weve sold just further down in his development. For that reason I do care who we sell cos were just never gonna be anything other than a yo yo club between the championship and Lg1 if it continues. We can tweak this 'plan' by replacing players who are a bit more ready and ready to hit the ground running (woodrow). Purchases of players like Green and Styles wont cut the mustard in the championship, good players they may become but players further down the development path are needed to at least maintain but hopefully improve our standing.

I look more to the players recruited in january after the takeover. The likes of Pinillos, Mcburnie and Moore. I'm going to wait n' see.
