The trend these days seems to be to get offended on behalf of other teams. The Brighton fans seem, in the main, to have expected this due to having a relegation record for the last five months of the campaign. The recent signings haven't hit the ground running at all, which would give you cause for concern about giving significant backing again in the Summer. He's a obviously a nice guy, a really hard worker, and has performed well there in terms of where they are now vs. when he joined. I'm just not that surprised by him moving on to be honest and definitely not outraged.
My friend surprised me the other day, Surprise, Surprise, brought me a book called Road Kill Recipes. Anyhow i was walking darn Donny Rd and fon sum Road Kill, i cooked it as instructed, it was foooking gorgeous. I'm not reight sure wot to wi bicycle though.
So sorry for Chris Hughton, he is a thoroughly decent man, a good coach and one of the most honest people in football. I have met him on a number of occasions and everyone who has worked or played with him says the same. He was treated abysmally by Newcastle and this is another example of short sighted owners wanting success on the cheap.
To my mind they are only a Championship side lacking significant quality and were lucky to beat Millwall in the Cup.
I will bet that Brighton and Hove Albion are back in the third tier within four season ... back where they belong some may say.
Swansea have rejected Brightons approach to take Graham Potter to the Amex as their next Manager. It's now up to Potter to decide whether he wants to consider a move. Having refused to join Celtic earlier in the season, saying he wants to see Swansea progress, the Welsh side remain optimistic that he will stay at the Liberty Stadium.
