I'm a bit conflicted, when we play them I despise them and want to beat them but I wouldn't mind them getting promoted: - Another Yorkshire team in the prem - PL rivalries with loads of teams - I don't consider them even in the top 2 of our main rivals
Head says they absolutely deserve it; plenty of young lads playing football the right way. Heart says **** the **** off; as heartbreaking a disappointment as possible, please.
Really? I thought Leeds threw everything at them and didn't deserve to lose that. Only saw 2nd half though.
I would have been devastated. Seeing Sheffield United promoted is bad enough but if Leeds had joined them it would have been horrendous.
I think I'm the only poster on here who wanted Leeds to go up. It would have been interesting if nothing else. Plus they have a good few young lads in their team which is always better than the Villa and Derby, throw-money-at -it approach. We've now got yet another 12.15 kick off, another away day too expensive to justify and if Villa go up, it's all a bit same old for me. Leeds threw it away though, can't fault Derby for their spirit and talented attacking play.
I would've been happy for them to go up only because it would be one less team charging us 40 quid a ticket, and consequently one less home game where we charge everyone 36 quid a ticket. Still got to laugh at how much of a shambles they were tonight. Absolutely threw it away in hilarious fashion. Great entertainment.
Marching on together. We’re gonna see you......... On yessssssssss. Get in there. Absolutely thrilled and delighted that they didn’t fade away in January as normal; spent the whole season in the top two and then fell apart at the end. It could only have been better if they’d made the final (though wouldn’t have wanted them to have the joy of a Wembley final) and the Ref popped up with a headed winning goal in the 97th minute. Get in you beauty. For the avoidance of doubt, i’m not very keen on them.
You don’t consider them in your top 2 of our rivals !!! Then you do NOT live in the Barnsley District - that’s for sure. OR - you walk around with yer eyes shut. If Leeds had got promoted then in the next few weeks while walking through Barnsley town centre you would see maybe 3 Leeds shirts to every Barnsley shirt. There are literally thousands of Leeds fans in the Barnsley District. If they get into the Premeir and a Barnsley parent takes their child to watch a match then that child usually becomes a Leeds fab. Leeds losing to Derby is a GREAT day for Barnsley.
Having worked with their stupid arrogant “fans” for 14 years, it’s bloody brilliant. Been out in Leeds city centre tonight has been absolutely fantastic!
