He’ll go if they offer enough. And they’ve just sold a defender for 13 million so they have plenty of cash
Hope were not selling our best players again. I dont care how much we get, it doesent go in my bank account and we dont get in like for like, just weakens our chances.. again.
The owner have always said if money comes in they can't refuse sell money goes back into the club. 5million for moore you won't see him for dust.
Nor will we see somebody in as good as him. Dont mind players going if we spend the brass back but we dont, just a bit deflating. Be gutted if we lose Big Keef.
So would I but I realise him and his agent know Bristol will pay more in wages we will be happy with 5million. I dont mind players leaving i realise we are barnsley bigger teams will be in for our best players all I ask is we get the biggest fees we can.
Well, in my opinion, Cauley Woodrow is a big upgrade on the player he replaced, Tom Bradshaw. I don't see it as inevitable, as some do, that IF we replace any of our established players, the incoming will automatically be inferior.
Much rather Kieffer stays but if bids of £5m come in let’s face it he’ll be going. Tom Eaves from Gillingham would be a decent replacement at probably less than half that fee?
In fact Eaves is out of contract this summer so no fee at all. Probably be a lot of interest though so it’ll be a wages competition which I doubt we’d have a chance of winning tbh.....
I'd not. There are telephone-number transfer fees in the Championship these days. £8million or fvck off, dwarf.
Lets face it, with the strategy the club has (which I personally think is the only way we can compete with teams with more financial clout) losing players is inevitable. I’m convinced at least 1, maybe 2, top players will leave; probably one or two of Moore, Pinnock, Lindsey or Mowatt. There’s two key elements to ensure it works: 1) It’s not losing a player than matters, it’s who we replace them with. 2) We need to avoid a fire sale like we had last time we got promoted. We also need to make sure we get good value for the players we sell and buy. Over the last year we’ve managed to be successful in both of these key elements. We lost very few players (Bradshaw and Potts were the only major departures) and the replacements have been as good or better (see Woodrow for Bradshaw). We’ll see how the summer and season as a whole pans out.....
