Not watched it since I was a kid, it's not a singing contest anymore it's a politically driven diversity fest.
    Load of b@llocks.

I don't mind the voting at the end . I predict nil points for the UK .

Anybody see Madonnas set.? Seemed to go out of tune at one point.
Shame really, because she was once a Superstar. Personally, I would
not pay to see her in Concert. I feel that her best days might be behind her.

Best live act I've seen in the past few years has been Rod Stewart.
Puts on a fantastic performance. Makes no secret of his love for
Celtic. Their logo is on his stixmans drum and was also on the
numerous footballs he chipped into the audience part way through his show.

    Iceland were brave.....

It got a lot of booing, the hosts struggled on through it all and they probably now need a armed guard to get out of Israel alive.

One of his sons is an Ice Hockey player. Used to play for Coventry and Guildford. Moved to New Zealand I think now.

His dad was Scottish and a Celtic supporter , that’s far from plastic imo.

Just read his life profile on Google. Family lived in Scotland. Dad was Leith born and
bred and supported Hibernian. His Mum was English. His two older siblings were born in Scotland and
the future Rod " the Mod", was born after the family relocated to the London area, where they had a shop.
He has admitted that like a lot of other Southerners, his " other" team is Man Utd, although his heart
will be forever with the Bhoys.

Got 6-1 on us finishing last, so 60 notes made it just about bearable

He signed for Sheffield Steelers at the start of last season but he's had a lot of concussion problems and on medical advice took a year out of the game.

I think he has been in NZ but it will interesting to see if he comes back to the sport & plays again and if he signs for the Steelers this season. They have a new coach but he is a good GB prospect.

GB currently getting hammered in the top pool of the ice hockey world championships (as expected) but hoping a win against France tomorrow will be enough to avoid relegation.

Shown free on Freesports channel. Shame it doesn't get more TV coverage.
