Don't believe they have. They are probably letting four go ( not including Kompany) and bringing four in. Two of them are defenders. Just shows what strength they have when they had Sane, Aguero and Stonesy on the bench yesterday. Good luck to the Blades.
Claim in yesterday's paper that Gundogan wants to leave. Sane probably being offloaded as well, because he won't sign the extension he's been offered and they can't risk him leaving on a free. The other player definitely on his way is Fabian Delph.
I think the updated news on Gundogan is that he’s open to contract talks again so I think he’ll likely stay. Sane is a weird one because last season he was in unreal form but this season, he’s been overshadowed by Sterling and Bernardo Silva.
Reading this morning that his current deal ends in the Summer of 2020. He had been offered an extension, but rejected it on the grounds that at 28, he needed to be included in PG's starting eleven more often, or he might have to move on. Like any Manager worth his salt, Guardiola wouldn't give him or any player for that matter, that kind of assurance. At the end of Saturday's Final against Watford, he's apparently let it be known, that he's open to resume talks about an extended deal. As yet, no one from the Club has offered any response.
Stones will be back to been first choice centre back alongside Laporte now Kompany’s gone. Guardiola obviously rates him highly, in the last two seasons he’s been first choice for the first half of the season then got injured & struggled to get back in. For players thinking of leaving the problem they’ve got are City aren’t going to sell to a rival & unless Barca or Real want you everywhere else is a step down
Alright, Even though Stones has played 6 times at Defensive midfield for Manchester City this season.
