If anyone is interested here's a drone's eye view of Brentford's weird new ground.

That’s about 10 minutes from where I live. Looking forward to watching us there next season - assuming it’s finished in time.

    I do not approve.

If stadiums were a part of the body, that would be the scrotum.

With the adjacent road and rail network - the houses and nearby flats - it would have been difficult to get planning permission for the new arena.
All things considered I think it's an outstanding stadium.

Maybe I'd like it more if it wasn't for those weird downward angles where the small stands meet the main stand. Just looks ugly.

Instead of a pub on all four corners again, they have gone for squashing a stadium between two train lines. They are spending a lot of money on the new stadium to say it's only going to hold a couple more thousand than Griffin Park.

I like it. Good to see some originality going into the design.

Parking looks like it will be at a premium.

Just had a look at the artists impressions of what it will be like. It looks nice and moderately ambitious in its efforts to add to local housing, tie in with the surroundings and integrate with the environs.
And then we have our West Stand.
Can we please, please, please at least show some interest in doing something with what has become a complete eyesore.
With the removal of the school building the West Stand now hits any visiting fans, players, prospective players right in the face as the first impression of Barnsley FC. And it's a sad, tired prospect I'm afraid.

A halt would have been handy on one of the railway lines.

Much as I love it, I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that sadly its time is up. Especially as it appears we can only ever open half of it. Pretty ridiculous really. Time to get it demolished and something modern but traditional looking built in its place.

The away end was built nearly 20 years ago , it would be nice to see something new built . I just think we're stuck between a rock and a hard place with oakwell . Any money spent on the stadium will not yield any extra revenue to warrant the investment past promotion to the prem .

Incorporate the gable when we do rebuild, which is hidden at the moment by the ghastly gantry. I think the Wendys did something similar.

I like it. Something abit different to the usual boring Lego built stadiums like the New York stadium or the keepmoat.
