Yep, good interview. I'm not fully convinced but there's no doubting his skill. Get his decision making a bit better and he could be a big player.
    Glad we've signed him up.

Very happy with this. His decision making is sometimes suspect but it's much easier to coach that than it is to coach the balance, touch and skill that he already has.

He’s got the potential to be a good player.
He just needs to be calmer but nastier.
A bit like Clint Eastwood - knowing he’s going to kill the opposition but getting the time right to fire is everything.

Excellent, I’m sure he’ll have the opposition in knots next term

Fantastic signing. He's got huge potential and we'll make a lot of money on him when we sell.

What's the consensus on the pronunciation of his surname? I'm still not sure but feel like I should definitely know now he's our laiker. Does it rhyme with bearer or the last 2 syllables of Cavare?

He did well last season given that he was not just joining a new team but coming to a new country as well. Can and will only get better I feel

Great news, and what a fantastic, heartfelt interview. Not a cliche to be found.

Welcome Mike, and all the best.

Pity we signed him from Hannover, not Munich. I had a song ready .......... München Mike

(sorry for those of you with young kids who used to sing this 24/7)

I'm missing it too. Great news all the same, I think he'll flourish in the championship.

A superb interview. You can tell from these players how much they want success at this club. Getting giddy for next season now!

    Always love a Clint analogy..
I'm sure he was warned that none of this is necessary and could have just got back on his horse etc...:)

Really pleased to have him with us permanently. I hope he can make his mark in the Championship.
Good to see it confirmed in the article , that the lads do get on really well. For me, that's a key sign that
with the probable exception of a couple of the squad, we stand a chance of keeping the rest together.
Looking forward to next season, especially as there could be some more players yet to come in.

Definitely offered enough last season to warrant a permanent deal so good signing.

If he becomes a bit more decisive in the final third then we’ll have some player on our hands. Well, for about 6 months anyway.
