Voted earlier. Only reason I voted because it means Farage’s lot will win by one less than they would have.
They have no MPs in Parliament, if May can’t get anything over the line with more MPs than any other party then how’re they going to manage it with none? Even if they got every single vote in this election they still have no power in parliament. If we leave then voting for them is pointless as we won’t need MEPs and if we stay they will just take the wage and either not attend or go and piss everyone off so much that no-one will want to agree to anything we want leaving us being worse off than we are now.
I am genuinely trying to understand what the Brexit Party stands FOR rather than against? Education, housing, social care? Health? We are in a dark place when we are voting for literally one process and ignoring the important outcomes.,
Brexit Party...the party with no manifesto so no ideas (literally) to hold them to. They could even turn round (if they ever got any power) and suddenly campaign to remain
You young lady have hit the owd nail on it's owd head. Get fkin ready if those chuffs get thier hands on us, ooooooh a cold shiver has just run darn mi spine.
I voted Brexit party and to leave in 2016. No interest in either but I tend to just vote the opposite of my mates just to wind them up. Works a treat. Especially when I win. Also, saw Paul Heckingbottom at the polling station and he told me he is a leave voter. Can’t stand the French.
Voted but not for any of the main three, why would you? May and Corbyn, inept, clueless and divisive. Cable mumbling deluded old man . Depressing really
Technically, you are voting for none of them. In Yorkshire, you are voting for those listed here. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48081687 Corbett and Todd (Labour #1 and #2) are very pro-EU, as is Magid (Green), Wallis (CUK) and Mohammed/Robinson (LibDems #1 and #2). Those will stand up for the people of this region in the EU Parliament. Most of the others are probably a waste of a vote in terms of supporting us and our needs.
Superbly put. But will go over the heads of anyone voting for Farage and chums. Not a difficult task, however.
We all know BREXIT party is a protest vote but It might shake the buggers up in parliament. wish I'd brought some shares in a milkshake company though.
Doesn’t matter one jot, they’re all as bent as one another. Meant to be public servants, my arse! Bunch of self-serving liars the lot of them. Politics? License to publicly lie and get away with it. The lot of them are all
I applied to vote by post because I was going away on a short break. I am loyal to the Labour Party, so I voted for their candidates. Early indications seem to suggest that Farage's party is going to " walk it." Tories set to finish with fewer seats than the Greens and Labour might not fare much better. Farage has apparently said that once he's returned to the EU Parliament, he's hoping that whoever goes on to lead the Tories, can get the Brexit deal through the House of Commons so that himself and the other UK elected MEP's can stand down. Been reading that if that happens, he's going to draw his EU pension and then move permanently to live in the United States.
