Shortsighted of you to forget Wendies last minute winner via 4 deflections? Surely? :)

Think I can see more losses going for the win in some of those draws.

I can see us finisjing 12th next season, looks to me that a lot of them teams are going to struggle due to finances problems, ageing players, losing loan players, volume of player changes, new managers settling in period. We dont have any of them issues.

Anything less than top, with the title won by the beginning of April constitutes failure. Division two holds no fears. It’s full of prima donner teams who won’t know what has hit them after they have faced 90 mins of the ‘Super Reds’.

We'll get at least one off West Brom, more likely three. Their record at Oakwell is nearly as bad as ours at QPR.

Yes mate, especially if one of those games falls early season and they are still in eternal loser mode. FWIW I have gone for a win at all three relegated teams - can't see any of them pulling up roses and none are cast iron certs to go straight back up.

The target for staying up is 1.15 points a game, according to Don Rowing.

Once upon a time maybe, though four of the last five championship seasons, one point per game would have been enough.

We were only third bottom last time round with 41 points and would have stayed up on 43. Rotherham were third bottom this season on only 40 - Millwall stayed up on 44.

I’m not convinced the standard is likely to be any better this coming season - though if the standard overall drops, and a few clubs are pretty skint with ageing squads so it looks likely, it would be a bit more even and the ‘bottom’ teams may pick up more points.

I honestly think we are good enough for mid table even without a signing - assuming nobody left. That won’t happen, so we’ve a long busy summer before any realistic predictions can be made.

Way too early to start predicting stuff. What if we sell moore and pinnock in next few weeks?? Need to wait until transfer window and pre-seaon is finished b4 you can even pretend to have a clue whats going to happen. Stendal could get poached yet.....
