Some of lads sending me videos of them all in fan zone, they are not in it now as sumat as kicked off and police as gone in with force
Usual knuckle draggers have been at it again(not saying it’s your mates) no wonder we get nil point in Eurovision!!
Doubt it’s any of my group involved in the trouble being as it’s just me and the wife. The large majority of fans are being well behaved but a little boisterous. We were in the riverside area all day and fans of all 4 teams were mingling with the English fans heavily outnumbering the others combined very loud but no trouble. Towards the end of the day alcohol had taken effect on some and you could see the potential flashpoints but personally didn’t see any trouble. Hopefully they will arrest the idiots without impacting the rest of us.
The fan zone is split into two parts there I was in the top one watching the game when the police charged. No trouble where I was, I had my Barnsley shirt on yesterday and surprised at the amount of people that came up to me and said we were the best team they played last year. Lovely reminder of the brilliant season we’ve had. Let’s win this nations league now and I couldn’t think of a better year to follow football personally.
